Learning from Safeguarding Practice Reviews - understanding risks faced by adolescents
This course will raise awareness about critical learning from Safeguarding Practice Reviews (formerly known as Serious Case Reviews) relating to adolescents. The session will include case studies and support practitioners to reflect and to apply key learning to practice.
Learning outcomes:
• To identify recurrent and new learning drawn from Safeguarding Practice Reviews (local and national) as well as recent reports/research.
• Use case studies to illustrate themes and key learning to assist learners to imbed the recommendations in their own practice.
• Considers best-practice models locally and nationally and enhance practitioner understanding of multi-agency working.
